About Us

At 1240 San Christopher Drive, the Dunedin Elks Lodge #1525 has carved out a reputation that keeps people coming back, and the reviews say it plainly: the bartenders know your name, the mugs are the coldest in town, and the room feels like somewhere you actually belong.

Ask anyone who has spent an evening here and they will tell you about Monica at the bar, who keeps every glass full and every guest comfortable, or about the easy camaraderie that greets a first-timer the same way it greets a member of twenty years. That kind of welcome is not accidental. The Elks have built it deliberately, through decades of community investment, charitable giving, and the simple act of opening their doors to Pinellas County neighbors.

Beyond the bar and the dining room, the lodge hosts dance classes, private events, and community gatherings that make it a genuine neighborhood anchor. Whether you are exploring membership in the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks or simply dropped in after hearing about the food specials, you will find a place that operates on honesty, generosity, and the belief that a good community starts with showing up for one another.

What We Offer

The lodge offers a full-service bar with rotating drink specials, cold draft beer served in frosted mugs, and the kind of attentive service that regulars return for week after week. The kitchen turns out hearty, satisfying food that pairs perfectly with an afternoon or evening among friends.

Event and meeting space is available for private functions, community gatherings, and organized group activities. The lodge currently hosts a children's dance program, demonstrating a genuine commitment to welcoming families, not just members. Banquet-style setups, audio support, and a staff that knows how to run a smooth event make this a practical and affordable venue for Dunedin and the greater Pinellas area.

Elks Lodge #1525 also connects members to the broader BPOE national network, including scholarship programs, Veterans affairs initiatives, youth activities, and charitable grants that fund local causes throughout Dunedin and Pinellas County every year.

"I have been a member for a few years now. I have never had issues. Volunteer in kitchen etc. . Today I came in for Matini night and was so disappointed. I came in at 5 after working all day had not eaten and wanted to order a pretzel to help pat my stomach as I drank. There were comments made by older members that if I ate what was brought for martini night and I wouldn't have to order anything. I think that was uncalled for. I am putting money into the elks and should not have to hear comments made if you want to order food."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
